Hi, I have adobe cs5 illustrator which I purchased when I had a windows xp computer. A couple yrs ago I purchased a iMac which has OS X yosemite. I didn't want to throw away my cs5 so I installed parallels .
It is an aggravation, always freezing up, I can't install any new fonts and for some reason it has almost no script fonts. Does anyone have any suggestions. I hate to change to corel etc. because I can kind of run illustrator. I have a bunch of lettering coming up that I need to lay out. All help is appreciated.
Thanks Ken

Adobe gives CS2 away for free, if that will run on your iMac. It's no longer supported so it may or may not run perfectly on Yosemite. Worth a try though.
Aside from that, there's inkscape which is a free mac vector software. I only tried it once years ago and didn't like it, but it's probably a lot better now.
Since you have a Windows partition on your iMac, you can probably find an old version of Coreldraw for cheap on eBay.
You can get the latest Illustrator CC for $19 a month.
