rubover settings

Hi there,
Just looking fro a few tips on setting rubovers close together. I always use a hammer action for rubovers but find when the stones are close together it's awkward work. Any tips much appreciated.

I use a "chisel" style tool made by grinding opposing 45deg faces on an old flexshaft burr with the head cut off. hammer straight down where the bezels meet, and once you have an opening you can go in with a small flat-head round tool to finish.
Hope this makes sense.
