Very nice Mike.
I was wandering a couple of things..
It's probably my eyes or ignorance, but where is the green?
Is the black on the left edges of the photo "over spray of black" or an "ops" after the fact?
Nice design and execution.

Mvangle,
No it's not a ops, just some leftover paint.
The green gold is within that triangle.
Thanks

Very well done Bill. Both yellow and green inlay's are perfection. One that really catches my eye is the leafs, both inside and outside work appear almost translucent. very impressive Fred

Well thanks guys!
Okay so if I put it like this, I have one more side to go, what would you change?
Can I change leaves on the other side or is that a no no?
I mean, I want the same pattern but can I change a leaf or two?
I have got some feedback from a well known master engraver so I know that there are room for improvements.
I am leaving for the ICCE show now on Thursday so I will leave the other side to rest for a few days.
I would really appreciate your comments before I hack up the other side.
Thanks

I'm no expert, but two identical sides are never identical, unless machine done. Sometimes small irregularities are proof to collectors that it is hand crafted. Personally, I don't try and make both sides identical, just close.
