I was recently touring western Europe and was at the zoo in Madrid, Spain when I caught a glimpse of several art students on a field trip. Turns out, this was actually their classroom out on location and they were going to get graded for their sketches of animals "in real time".
Can you imagine how hard this would be?

Brian,I've been telling fellow engravers and students to go to zoo's museum's of natural history and get friendly with a taxidermist with a sketch pad & pencils,thanks good thread. :thumbsup:
