hi all ,i have an olympus sz 30 and i have a 0.62 barlow , and it has a working distance of 160 , im after another 2" of working distance but the 0.5 lens i have seen so far only give an extra 5 mm of wd (165) so there is no point there . Does anyone know if there is a 0.5 or 0.4 maybe that i can get from UK that will give the extra wd i require. all i can find is the ones from china on ebay . maybe another compatible make or model ? thanks all .

the 0.62 came with the scope , both the 0.4 and 0.3 have around 300mm WD which is probably to much but ill have a check tonight , i thought that around 9" would be nice resting distance for the arms . how do you find the 300mm WD ? thanks for the info

I currently use a 0.75, my problem is different, I am a hammer and chisel engraver, my work need to be horizontal. The working distance with .5 is a little too long, .75 just a little too short, .6 might be just right

well my 0.62 says 160 WD , so just check your 0.5 is not like the 0.5's i have seen with a WD of 165 . not much point for 5mm. but i hear that there may be good quality 0.5 lens with a better WD which is maybe what you have ?
