not sure of the page & hanley books. the winters book is surely worth taking a look. i recently acquired one from jj. also got the book by schippers. the schippers book is a good one for most anyone.

Thanks for posting this, seems like an amazing resource.. just got lost for a while in a historic french design book from 1915 ( in the GIA section), whether jewelry or engraving always humbling and inspirational to see the work of past masters...

You can never have to many books, I was able to get a copy of the Winters book as well ( thanks again JJ ). In reading back thru the threads I found a working link to a college book store that still has copies of the 4 volume set of J.M. Bergling books, spiral bound so they lay flat, talk about a valuable resource.
