We will be joined by Doug Larson, Eugene Carkoski, Gene Schenkelberg and other engravers.

We had a great time and introduced the art of engraving to many new people at the HotShops Open House, as a part of the continuing Firearms Engravers Guild of America Outreach Program.

I want to thank Steve Lindsay and Bryce Lindsay of Lindsay Tools for traveling to Omaha for the event and for all of their help and support.

Thanks also to local engravers Doug Larson, Eugene Carkoski, Gene Schenkelberg, Wayne Grulke, for helping to demonstrate various engraving techniques and tools.

Attendence exceeded our expectations -- more than six-thousand people visited the event on Saturday and Sunday, combined.

Special thanks to my brother Ed Fennell, his wife Rose, Dan, Bekka, Oliver and Tim Barry, and all the rest of the family and friends who made the event Possible. And thanks to BANG! Caterers for keeping our energy levels up.

The HotShops in Omaha is unique and fantastic experience. 90,000 square feet of studios and galleries. It is open to the public seven days a week, but the Open House is the best time to experience it.

We will do it again in December. Tell your friends.

It was an absolute blast! Glad I made the time to be there. I am really looking forward to December. Should have a few more demos ready for the viewing pleasure. Here are a couple pictures of the demos I started, the 1911 slide and a gold inlayed front sight for a 1911. It was great to finally meet Steve. Seeing Mike, Wayne, Gene and Eugene is always a pleasure.

Also being with Doug , Gene and Eugene. Also nice to be able to see Steve and Bryce Lindsay of Lindsay Tools again and visit with them. Looking forward to December. See everyone then.
