I have been struggling with the lack of working distance.
I need a lens to fit an Olympus; 48x.75 mm, I am pretty sure.
Can't afford the best; or the worst. Can someone direct me to a reliable source. Ebay stuff could be good or bad; I wouldn't know enough to buy there.
thanks
Mike

For starters, I would post a WTB in the Buy/Sell section on this forum. If I'm not mistaken, the posting for WTB is FREE !
Someone just browsing may have just what you need laying around.
I use a .5 Barlow lense which gives me roughly a 6" working depth, which is adequate for air assist gravers .

Hi;
I wouldn't write off E-bay, Look for brand name lenses advertised in new condition and you should be ok. I picked up a new Unitron .5 barlow for my used Unitron scope for $9.95 plus shipping. It was perfect. Good luck in your search.
Cheers
Don
