Very nicely done! I've worked on these myself. They are great projects for beginners as the surfaces are flat and easy to cut. They are not that expensive, $250 range as I remember. There are other exceptional plane makers who produce work that would be great to work on. Wayne Anderson is one that I recall and is worth a look. I don't have the link but a search should quickly find him.

Lie Neilson plans are a work of art to start with, if you love wood working there is no other plane that feels the way they do in your hand, now you have made it even harder to put this little guy to work.
I am sure the folks at lie neilson won’t mind what you did.
