If he's trying to dot punch a background, he's imitating a pile driver. Watching the tip of his 'punch', before his fingers obscured it, I so no movement in the punch, and, have to wonder what size the crater is he put in. Almost seems like a new way of drilling a hole, without a drill or drill press. I noticed no power tools, so I don't know what's the purpose behind the demo.
