I don't have a real block yet and have just been using some thick wood that I have in my wood shop and was having problems so I got to digging and found some bigger stuff. So I cut the center out of the middle one and put a thin bottom on it and filled it with lead shot and put a top on it. I just hot glued it together for now to see if it worked and so far I am happy with it. It is 10 to 15 pounds. For my practice plates I just hot glue them on. I have the stuff to make a bigger one. Going to make it look better it will be two times the weight of this one. I had to put some beads of hot glues on the bottom to help it stay put thought I wood share this for others that don't have a vise yet. :hammer: :graver: :chip:
