I am looking to change to a heavier handpiece to use in my western bright cut engraving. I am currently using the 901 and Monarch handpieces. Does anyone have any insights on the differences or advantages between the Magnum and Maestro MX handpieces. The GRS website states that the Maestro MX is heavier, but that is all I know. Thanks.

I have the Monarch, 901 and magnum hand pieces, I actually started out with a Magnum hand piece and it is still attached to my Graversmith but I've add an airtact to it with an air valve to switch between airtact and foot control. I still use it but mostly for heavy cutting in malible steels and for hammering inlays and that's about it. All my other work is done with my 901 and Monarch, my Monarch I use for cutting the harder steels such as guns and knives and ultra fine detail work and my 901 for most other stuff and they are attached to my Gravermach AT. That's just my setup and it seems to work for me.
