Has anyone Engraved a Armscor model 1911 MFG in the Philippines? trying to find out how hard the slide is.

I have engraved a couple of them and find it very easy to engrave on. Cuts evenly with no hard spots at all. I used a draw file and sand paper to prep the surface and remove unwanted blemishes.

They are a cast slide not a forging so they don't polish up quite as bright at a forged one will. They cut just fine.
