I was in the midst of travel and Shawn was kind enough to ship my copy to my girlfriends place in SoCal. I just made the 3000 mile trip to see it and it's AWSOME...Dan

Mine arrived also.... Huge thanks Shawn. I wish I'd gotten something like this years ago. Well written/drawn.
Very logical w/ lots of room to see how to grow the designs.

I would like to ask the group, what is Shawn's style of engraving called?
It has a lot of Acanthus aspects but it also has some American scroll flavor.
Just asking......

I've been looking over Shawn's new book on scroll development. If you have
enjoyed his photos and Shawndoodles he has been posting on the Café, this
gives a great insight into his methods and style. The beginner can learn
a lot about this style and development, leaf shapes and shading. I
especially enjoy studying his shading and have learned from it...yes, even
this "old dog".
