A modern Henry Big Boy in .44mag/.44spl I engraved for our Masonic Lodge to raffle this year. I tried to emulate L D Nimschke's style.

Thanks JJ. This one was a pleasure to engrave and I was under no pressure to complete it this time. The majority of my time was spent studying Nimschke's style and trying to decipher his technique. After I started the engraving ( after many drawn examples to get it down right) I began to see how his work is both elegant and simple to execute. He was truly a Master, as are some of the modern engravers I have studied here, yourself included. I'm indebted to all those here that showcase their work.
