cool looking work you're doing now. you've improved considerably since your firs post. i tried a plane one time. it cut like sugar cubes. i was so disgusted, it's back with my other junk tools !

Ron's planes are beasts. How was the brass to cut? I've had both brittle and soft and slippery. Every now and then I come across some that cuts beautifully.
