New project on Winchester model 61, 22 Caliber rifle!

Hi Every body!
I just finished this project!!! It belongs to one of my friends, he gave this gun to his daughter as a gift and asked me to engrave her name "Diba"!

an absolutely marvelous piece of art. here in the states, nobody would dare put a bird on a .22 cal. rifle. i guess it's one of those "unwritten rules". but, as they say, "the customer is always right". anyway, this is surely a treasure !! thanks for showing this piece.

When engraving sporting guns matching the game scene to the caliber of the gun,22 cal. rabbits,crows,woodchuck or squirrel.I have talked customers out of putting the wrong animals or birds on firearms,this is the second time I've seen a pheasant on a 22 rifle. J.J.

I totally agree with you, but as Monk said, customer is always right...
I started by a rabbit, but my friend insist on putting a pheasant on the other side. So...

Eugene,Shooting any wildlife from a car is against the law,may want to read the game law in your state.J.J.

I've lost count over the years of the number of whitetails that have blessed our freezer via the .22 LR express.
In Texico it is sacrilegious to shoot one with anything larger, unless it's suppressed ! :rolleyes:

It's illegal, ONLY if you get caught ! Hence the suppressor ! ;)
