Commissioned engraving of an A-7 Corsair II on a 1935 quarter. This piece was done as a gift for one of the original test pilots of this aircraft and the quarter is his birth year FYI thats a standard ball point pen tip in the close up. I knew doing this piece that it had to be as accurate as I could make it, the guy was a test pilot for this thing for crying out loud! It's hard to see it even in the close up but it was important to the customer that the tail insignia actually say VA 147 (Argonauts). I think you could cover it up with a hair or two but its there and legible under the scope.
