Shading practice

Didn't get to do this as soon as hoped but nice afternoons playing !
Shading on the bottom half of the leafs seemed to get better as I went along but the top of the leaf is a disaster :mad:
I have another plate with a similar layout so will try again .

this may be a violation of rules. not sure about that. it doesn't violate my personal standard. i'm trying to say i like it. practice will make your lines more consistent. starting very thin, and growing fatter at the ends. fwiw, the cutting is rather clean. i also think you do some cool designs.

Your coming along! Congrats. The cross hatching should be closer at the centers,then slowly increase in distance towards the tips.
