Have taken Theirry Duguet's advice about practising clock wise and anti clockwise cuts.Not sure weather scales should be pointed or more rounded at the top ? (As in the circle in the centre)
Is it a personal thing or is either acceptable?Will try and make the shading less obtrusive (tnx dale Hatfield) , going to be challenging but I am looking forward to it.

nice, clean cutting. the design is interesting to me as i like the look of repetitive design as you have here. the scales-- all depends-- fish scales are usually more round on the end. snake scales generally are more pointed. dragon scales- well, i don't know for sure.
