I haven't visited much lately much less participated or contributed anything to the forum. The shop has been a little over run but here is one of the latest time suckers.
This sterling silver punch bowl is a replica/replacement for an award that was lost in the mail. The medallion was done in AutoCAD To save time. There were over 400 letters to cut between the front and back. I think I cut 24 or so names and years for the previous recipients on the back. Definitely one of the more challenging projects to come my way this year. I whipped up a custom jig to hold it at a comfortable angle and placed this on a turntable. And as you can see, shooting pics of a silver mirror is an excercise in futility. The Red Bull empties on the bench tell the tale!
