Jon, just a dumbass Texan question here.
I have never seen a real duck in flight or studied pictures of such, but that split tail reminds me of a pheasant's tail.
Please enlighten me.

the duck is a beauty. overall , so is the gun. very nice to my eye !

pheasant tails, at least around here, are about 20" long. i've seen a few on the fly. sadly, their population here in pa have dwindled drastically over the years.
