becoming friends with your pencil. a valuable friendship. your backbone or spine (the very basic scroll shape) needs practice. i'd concentrate on those before getting ahead of yourself. no sin to do this, but the spine shape affects all that will be added onto it. it's good that you post the drawings. keep a looseleaf and date the dwgs. doing this will show your progress.
