Help, please: struggling with design

Help... I have to get this knife done asap but can't figure out artwork. Any ideas? I have a bit of work to go on the back but you can see what I am going with.

I can't think of anything that will look good.

You can see I've worked on one of those before but we engraved the bolsters... this time I'm bewildered

I think you should do essentially what you've done on the side you're doing now. If you do something drastically different it won't match. You should be able to design something very close to have you have going.

I also think I'd make the 2nd side terminate in the same place as the first side (between the first two holes). Making one longer or shorter might look odd.

Sorry about my really bad photography. But here's the design I'm going for. Hopefully I can get this one finished and back to it's maker for assembly and final finishing ready for the show on the 2nd/3rd of May.

progress so far

It hardly got over 10 degrees here today. Got a feq more hours done on it. Might get the shading finished tonight.
