Was the silver flat when you carved it or formed and then carved?.....What type saw did the intricate cutting? Some engravers, I think have been successful at getting the powered scroll saw to work for silver....What ever the technique you have mastered it, very well done...

The jewelers saw has been around a lot longer than anyone on this forum.

And there have been some pretty incredible pieces made entirely by hand with them. Years of practice to gain the highest skills.

Never gonna happen with any powered saw I have seen. (I freely admit I have not seen everything out there, but I see a lot more than most)

First off, name me a powered saw that can handle a 10/0 blade?

True, most people on this forum would never have a use for 10/0... or even own 'em. (maybe never even seen 'em?)

But they are kinda like parachutes or guns. When ya really need one, nuthin' else will suffice.
