I did. I'm waiting for a reply. Tom's slow to respond sometimes, so I thought I'd try this forum too.

There's only one model on the website now. In the past, there were two.
OBE. No longer need an answer. The 2A is an older model that starts at a "high speed", i.e., it's not continuously variable speed from a 0 rpm start.
