Does anyone know if the new Ruger #1s are as good as the old ones? Do they engrave well?

Didn't know the old ones were "good"... They can vary in hardness like the weather and have welded up inclusions so I would imagine they haven't changed much. I haven't done any in the last couple of years but all the ones I have done were tough buy OK. This applies to the blued ones. Never did the stainless one.
