william powell and son knife

i found this little beauty at a swap meet. im trying to get a value on it to sell on ebay.
Cant find any knives from this mark but they do engrave shotguns?

i''d not know anyway, but the photos are a bit fuzzy for those that may be able to identify this.

Some one took a side plate knife maker not know but may be from Calazans gun maker and engraved with English scrolls and stamped with the name William Powell & Son don't think they ever made knife or engraved them. J.J.

A number of British gun companies sell these sidelock knives with various ornamentation. Some are custom hand engraved and some have the ornamentation impressed with a roll die. The images are too blurry to tell what you have.

darkyvader: Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing sells these knives in their catalog and possibly on their webb site. This one you have looks to be hand engraved, possibly? They sell them plain or laser engraved.

I went to the website you mentioned but I didnt find any that where william powell and son. I did look under a loop at the engraving and it appears to be by hand. I could see little jagged marks on the inside of the engraving, perhaps from tapping; and imperfections seen only with a loupe.

What do yal think a ballpark figure for this knife would be if it was hand engraved?
