I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to Mr JKOPER and Dirtdigger, for inspiring me to make my own airgraver. I made some changes to the design dementionally and in the knob. Mine is 304 SS and 6160 aluminum for the body and flame hardened A2 tool steel for the guts. This thing is a hoot!

Seems like it didn't take you too long to make it?

Had help with the threads on the knob only, and asked a lot of questions plus persistence pays off! I have a great instructor on the manual lathe. Not to mention the help of this outstanding forum! !!:handpiece:

IMHO, the most critical part of handpiece operation is getting an absolutely perfect start-up with no snake-bite. If you can get this then you're off to a good start.
