Last month I was lucky enough to be in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the Museo de Armas del La Nacion (gun museum). I took a few photos that you might be interested in seeing - factory engraved 1860 Colts and Japanese sword tsubas (hand guards).
Definitely worth seeing if you find yourself in BA.
Only had an iphone to photograph with, so sorry about the poor quality.

Sorry I don't remember more specifics - there were room after room of guns and weapons in this museum, including spears, swords, armor, muzzle loaders, three Colt Gatling guns, Maxim machine guns, a ma deuce, cannons, up to modern tactical weapons, and I got a bit overwhelmed with dates and names.
Silverchip, I got out in the country, but did not see anything that most would call art - but did see some beautiful country and had LOTS of fun (hunting).
