Question: Rolair air compressor

I am looking at air compressors and for a way of saving some money. I am going with the GRS GraverMax G8 with a 901 handpiece. The Val Air compressor is $1,400.00 and I cannot see myself paying that kind of money when there afe so alternatives like the RolAir model JC10 1hp with a 2.5 gallon tank. Has anyone here own or used them and what was opinion of them? Thanks in advance.

it should serve a need. but is it quiet enough ? some of the economy types will rattle your teeth when they start up. one must also be mindful to filter the air coming from the compressor. oil and other condensates can wreak havoc on your equipment. go online and see if there are any reviews for it.

I have the Rolair compressor.

I used it during an engraving class, it was very quiet, not one complaint.
