I am looking at replacing my T-tap handle that got swipped.
I use a 10-24 tap.
Will the Starrett 93c or Greenlee 333 work with this tap ?
From what I can figure on Google this tap falls in No Man's Land.
Thanks.

Not sure of the Starrett sizes, as I don't use that brand for tapping. I have two General, 40 year old T-handle tap holders that, I think, handle all sizes, between using both, of possibly #4 to maybe 7/16". I don't have them at hand to look at, as they're at a subcontractor's shop. They're well made, nonratcheting, and heat treated adequately. For the smaller taps, at and below #4, you can use those cheap pin vises from India, with the one piece split collets (split in fours) that the square portion of the taps will engage. Sometime, you can grip the shank itself adequately for the job, if fit is right, and material is soft enough. I probably have 6-8 tap handles, T-type, and conventional, and use them all at some point. There's a lot out there, and you don't have to spend much money.

Thanks Doc and Ron,
I found a well built older 93c going off this a.m. Thanks to y'all, I didn't make a mistake and buy it.
Going to pick up a 93b.
Thanks again guys.
