Awesome! Let that inspire you're next engraved scroll! You can combine negative and positive elements of a scroll based on the three designs in nature! That's a real find! One mans' junk is another man's treasure!

I have one that has been sawed in half sitting right here on a shelf. The person that threw it out is a definite cretin. I'm glad you rescued it from the trash pile. :)

Yes mdengraver, I plan on using it to help with my logarithmic scroll drawing, I mean one can't really improve on a perfect nautilus shell!

Yes,Ed, Dakota, as the saying goes, "there is no accounting for taste", but I have to agree with you on the cretin part.

My wife has one of the cut in half shells, and I love looking at it from time to time, as it is just so simple and at the same time complex.
