He's from old school. He help me with hand engraver and vice because it's very expensive for me and I don't have more money and on the other size I learn shading gravers.

Over here we use a cut down .38 cartridge casing for a ferrule.
What do y'all use ?

Thank you. Very young people in my country don't doing a hand work they go to the universe and after they doing what don't doing. I want doing a thing what interesting me.

Please take your coat off. Those sleeves are just inches from being caught in the chuck and if they do you will not be doing any engraving for a while and maybe never. No loose clothing near the lathe chuck and roll sleeves above the elbow. I hope you are wearing safety glasses.

+1 on rolling sleeves up!!! No long hair or jewelry that could catch..
Iv seen fatal pictures of people caught in them... They have a lot in common with ground hamburger meat... Be safe an have fun

In this garage was cold. I told him to be carefull but he only smile on me. He used only glasses for reading and just started with handle. I know it's looks like dangerous but I belive him. He does with this machine more years.
