I've made a lot of belt buckles, rings, bolo ties, etc. from elk ivories through the years. Indians will sew them all over dresses for decoration. My uncle used to hunt a lot too and was into jewelry, lapidary, faceting etc. I was going through some of his stuff I inherited and found a small drawer with several pairs of elk ivories in it. A real treasure.

Pretty picture doc Santee if I am not mistaken from the Devils Lake area, but might be Sakota from Minnesota. Meet her at a PowWow ? Their used to be a real nice one up at Grand Forks until Little Somalia was established by LSS. They should be paying for all the increased police, depleted land prices and snuggling a .44 instead or your Mrs. You folks should file a class action.
