Here's my first solo hobo nickel, a skull and centipede. Thanks to all of you who helped me along on my engraving path, with a special thanks to Paolo Curcio (MrThe) who bears some of the extra blame...;)

1937 nickel, with 24 karat gold and deer antler (the creepy eye) inlays.

I just listed it on eBay, and am a little apprehensive about my first auction... Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hobo-Nickel-Skull-Centipede-by-Tom-Sterling-/181589521211?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a4794333b

That is an awesome eyeball !
It would be even more awesome to grave(pun intended) some jagged lines radiating outward and filling them with gloss red Testors .

well, looks good to me. i'd be afraid of putting that creature in my pocket. nasty sting. i like your texturing on the skull. did you get a copy of his dvd ? it's worthy of any collection.
