With set ups like this one, a little speedcrank would be a necessary accessory to the independent, 4-jaw chuck. . .wish I had one for many a job.

The set up is made from small oxygen tanks that didn't pass their hydro test. There's a plastic bearing that's the white thing. The Sherline headstock sits on a plastic dowel so it moves freely. I am cutting another oxy tank for using jet set in the same set up.

Is that a SLIDE RULE?

A speed crank for your four jaw can easily be made from an old ratchet.

if you pay for the shipping-- i'll take that off yer hands. i like the idea of using a piece of scrap, such as the tank, and turning it into something useful. btw-- thermoloc is much more user friendly than jet set.just an honest, biased opinion
