Only thing that seems off is the size of the bail?
Maybe the reason might be 10mm rope chain, velvet ribbon or thick twisted cable it's gonna hang from?

Love the way you framed that floral pattern. A good study in shading as well. I have to agree with Brian's comment on the bail, something daintier would appeal more to me .Thanks.

Including that new blackleaf. Nice touch. I agree the bail overpowers the pendant. Delicate engraving asks for a delicate bail.

Perhaps a bit of engraving on the bail will "lighten" it's effect. Overall, another lovely piece.

I kinda figured something like that, but the possibility of a braided leather/rawhide "collar" never crossed my mind.

your work is great. as for the bail-- i don't see it. the engraving does not allow my eye to bother lookin at the bail. calm down, everybody, take a deep breath, jmpo.

Wonderful engraving and shading! Wish I could see the borders a bit closer. Those are amazing and I would be interested to know the order and technique you used to cut the borders. Thanks for sharing this.
