as a kid lie on the ground looking at clouds and seeing what pictures they brought to mind?

I was trying to come up with a leaf for some scroll I was designing and happened to look out the window and the cloud I saw brought to mind just what I wanted.

You can see the development in the photos...

Way Cool, Sam. Trying to design good scroll patterns can be a cloudy subject, but you've pointed out some great stratocumulus resources.
Besides that, I'd rather be accused of having my head stuck in the clouds than.......oh, never mind.

About 30 years ago I was pondering what kind of ornament to put in that little projection at the front of a Ruger No.1 action. While I was in church I looked at the stained glass window above my pew and saw that a saint's feet were resting on two such shapes. Here is the result.
