Amazingly beautiful work Phil. The tonal qualities and detail are fantastic for a flush gold inlay. Is it 24K or a bit harder considering the sharpness you were able to engrave on it?

I'm curious as well Phil. Did you use 24k or something a bit harder. I've been playing with 22k and I quite like it. Well done and thanks for posting it.

be careful, he may be plotting to steal your clients !! how long has he been engraving ? all that you have shown of his work is rather great looking stuff.

Just A bit of extra info, the Rhino itself is about 1 inch (25mm) high, looks a lot bigger in the picture.

That is one handsome old Rhino. These beasts are one of my favorite animals on the planet. Soon will all be gone in the wild. Soon they will only be available as "Canned Hunts". Great work Simon, Thanks for passing on Phil. _Fred
