Bread knife

I rarely engrave much but was asked to do abit on a bread knife that was rock hard.
Came out abit cartoonish :rolleyes:

Was going to stipple inside the letters but ended up burnishing them, which actually looks ok in the right light as it is abit of a contrast to the blade colour.

It was a free job so not worried about the lack of professional touch.

you get points for sheer determination, i'll give you that. and it has that certain cool...words fail...you know when you intentionally want something to look a bit crude? Picasso once said, "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child."

stop apologizing and act like you did it on purpose. ;-)

The outcome could be considered accidently on purpose...once it went abit goofy, I decided to emphasize that rather than try & fix which would've made a real mess.:)

i do stuff like that with a laser. the beam of light never gets dull. experience ( bad ones) taught me to forget doing hand cutting on items like this. the aggrivation aint worth it yo me.
