Great coins Tim. How did you get the shading on Lucky. I can see the shading lines on the other two. Is that done with bulino or differences in stoning or what?. Thanks for sharing.

The bottom two coins are engraved, so yes there you can see the shading lines but
that Lucky coin is carved(sculpted) so no lines here.
For shading i used sandblast, after i heat till coin becomes black and then sand with paper, rubbers, brass brushes or whatever you like best to achieve the desired effect...
Paolo(Mrthe) has a nice video about this. I believe is for sale on his website, is how i started to:)

ps. I had a hard look at lucky. I like the way you put liberty in front of his ear and shoulder.Also noticed he has a visor on and not a cap. I love this guy.
