Look to me like an Andrew Biggs watch engraving , i'm not sure but he engraved other Magrette and seem his style,maybe he can tell you more about it .

That was was in fact done by MR Biggs. You could pm him and get the answer but I would bet my last dollar it was inlaid.

Thanks friends. Yes, similar it is its work and all the same how it is made?To inlay a stainless steel probably it is not simple

Hi Zahar

Yes, that is my engraving on a Magrette watch www.magrette.com

It is inlaid with 24k gold.

The process is the same as any inlay. Outline the inlaid area, create a cavity, undercut the cavity and hammer the gold in. The undercuts hold the gold in to stop it from falling out. To finish you stone/sand the gold flush with the surface.

It's time consuming work but the results are very rewarding. :)

Hi Andrew. Your work has rendered improbable impression. Beautifully, in an original way, it is delightful. But me the material of the case of hours still interests. It is a stainless steel? Thanks.
