I have a question as to what kind of Air Compressor to use with the Lindsay air Graver …

Oil or no Oil ? and why?

I see a lot of post on the forum where people are talking about the no oil Compressors and how to make it quieter and so on…

I have not found any post on the oil Compressors, is there anyone using them, is there a reason why you do not want to use them with the Lindsay air Graver tool?

The ones that Steve sell on his website are oil compressors, the ones that GRS sell are oil compressors, 99% of the silent compressors use oil, the fact that the brads warning about the oil contamination don't want to say that the oil compressors are bad or not good to use, just you need to pay attention with the compressor maintenance and use good filters to avoid contaminations.

All that matters is that the air going to the graver is clean and dry. Because the Lindsay system uses less air you can run it off of compressed gas - CO2 or Scuba tanks are both handy for travel and other situations.
