Engravers mark

I found it on the right side of this Officer's ACP just below the "C" in Colt:

JJ, BTW, the gun came from a collection in the Valley of VA near Harrisonburg. Somewhat southwest of you, I believe.

Saint,I have'nt got a clue who the engraver is,maybe the person you purchased the 1911 from can help you or check with FEGA they keep records of engravers marks. J.J.

Roger, Thanks for that input. I tried to join the FEGA forum since I have quite a few engraved guns, but I could not determine how to post on that site.
I think I was successful in joining. BTW I have your book on American Engravers on my bookshelf and use it quite often. Great contribution!

BTW, The other gun that I got from that collection was a late Colt Detective Special engraved by Denise Therion. She signed the work. Beautiful work. See below:

Roger, Thanks for the compliment! I know how difficult it is to ID engraving if one cannot see the detail in it.
