Hello friends:

Knife Jose Exposito, reproduction antique piece.

* I finished engraving La Giralda (Sevilla).
Giralda is the name given to the bell tower of the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See of Seville, Andalusia (Spain). The lower two thirds of the tower are the minaret of the old mosque of the city, from the late twelfth century, the Almohad period, while the upper third is superimposed on Christian era building to house the bells. At its peak is called a ball jar on which the giraldillo statue that functions vane and it was the European Renaissance sculpture in bronze and bigger which by extension came to give name to the whole tower rises because historically started called Giralda (literally "rotating") to the vane.

regards

Antonio

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. And a special thanks for the memories, I lived outside of Sevilla in the early 60's in the USAF housing area. I saw the Tower many times in the 3 years we lived there, I have a lot of great memories of that time.
