thanks for all the nice comments. tom the braiding is done by a friend in Argentina. It is made from horse hide. Some of the finest braiders in the world are from Argentina and Pablo has won national honors there and in the U.S. as well. This piece is done with 72 strands.
the stranding is amazing. the engraving -well, quite nice comes to mind.
