Hey all,

Just figured I'd post a pic of a ring I made recently since I've been a member for a bit now and haven't posted any work!

This was a custom job that came through the store I work for. It's an 8mm x 2mm 18K yellow gold men's band. Admittedly, this is the first time I've ever had a job where someone actually wanted scroll. Simple leaf designs and knot-work seem to be more popular in my area (and only when accompanied by diamonds), so I didn't have much practice in scroll before this RUSH job came in. There are few things more nerve-wracking than a customer who wants something done that you've never done before, in a time that you don't know if you can do it in, and a boss that is willing to oblige. That being said, the customer left happy! And that makes my boss happy, which means I won't be put on the street anytime soon (*yay for me*).

Sorry if the pics aren't great, it was a rush so I had to use my phone.

Nice work! That's not an easy job to engrave and shade nicely such a small object and it being tubular. You should be very happy with that one.
