One of the reasons I became a jeweler was because of a trip I took to the New Orleans museum when I was twelve. The Faberge Napoleonic egg is on permanent display there. When the other kids left the room I stayed and stared at that egg till the chaperone came and found me. I've been enthralled with them ever since.
