Another Attempt...Scrimshaw

Here's another attempt at he stipple method... I still have a loooong ways to go to even get close to what I'm seeing with some of the folks who've posted scrimshaw on the forums. I guess it, "One dot at a time..." Think I'll call this one, "Hunter and the Hunted"

Your basic shapes are fine, but you need to study shading techniques to give your animals and foliage some "depth". As they stand now they are only two dimentional. You have the skills to do it, just envision the animal with a specific light source above or to one side and create the shadows on the "skin" and below the subject. I would ignore color scrim at first and concentrate on reproducing a quality black and white animal photo, paying particular attention to the infinite gradations of "grey" you see. Once you have this figured out, then go back to adding color after the black has been done.
